Our Story
Compy was born in the classroom and at home. As teachers, we saw how much a student's sense of belonging, confidence and relationships with classmates shaped what they could learn, and how few tools a teacher had to see any of it, let alone support it. As parents, we saw what children carried home from school: the friendships, the frustrations, and the small wins no grade ever showed.
From both, an idea took shape: a compass that helps every student find their way, and helps teachers lead a learning community of motivated students. We built prototypes and ran first pilots, and the feedback from participants encouraged us to keep going.
Today Compy continues as part of AlgoRena, which shares its vision.
